There are 4 main colours of a pointer.
We breed for temperment and health not just for a colour.
Pointer breed standard says:
A good Pointer cannot be a bad colour !
The puppies in the pictures below are all out of one Perryglen litter.
Black and white: Coat colour black and white Nose,colour black Eye, colour dark |

Orange and white: Coat colour orange to a light tan and white Nose colour black Eye, colour dark |
|
Liver and white: Coat colour brown and white Nose colour brown Eye, colour lighter than black and white |
|
Lemon and white: Coat colour orange to a light tan and white Nose colour brown or flesh coloured Eye, colour lighter than an orange and white |
There can also be a solid coloured pointer or a tri coloured pointer . These are the less common colours.
